1. Eligibility

• Contest is open to independent artists worldwide.

• Artists must be the original creator of the submitted music.

• Submissions must not include third-party material unless the entrant has all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions.

2. How to Enter

• Complete the official Front Side Records feature request form in full.

• All fields are required; incomplete submissions may still be reviewed, but complete submissions are prioritized.

• Artists may submit up to three feature artist suggestions; enter “N/A” for unused fields.

3. Contest Period

• Submissions will be accepted from February 1, 2026 through February 28, 2026.

• Entries received after the deadline will not be considered.

• Front Side Records reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, extend, shorten, or cancel the contest period at any time.

4. Judging & Down-Selection

• Submissions will be reviewed based on creativity, originality, artistic quality, and completeness.

• Front Side Records will down-select a winner at its sole discretion.

• Selection does not guarantee funding, feature placement, or release. Decisions are final and binding.

5. Notification & Claiming Prize

• Winners will be contacted using the email or contact information provided in the submission form.

• Winners must respond within seven (7) business days to claim the prize. Failure to respond may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

• Claiming the prize does not automatically release funding or guarantee a feature. It initiates the negotiation process between Front Side Records, the winning artist, and the selected feature artist. During this process, all parties will discuss and agree on creative, financial, and royalty terms. No funds will be released and no commitments are binding until a written, mutually agreed-upon agreement is executed.

6. Prize & Funding Terms

• The selected artist may receive up to $5,000 in funding, applied directly toward securing a feature on their track.

• Any funding provided is contingent on a fully executed agreement between Front Side Records, the submitting artist, and the selected feature artist.

• Front Side Records does not assume ownership of any music, recordings, or intellectual property unless explicitly agreed in writing.

7. Royalty, Revenue & Agreements

• Any royalty splits, revenue shares, or other financial arrangements related to the feature must be negotiated and agreed upon in writing by all parties prior to production, release, or funding disbursement.

• No party is obligated to agree to specific terms, and negotiations may result in no deal.

8. Rights & License of Submissions

• Submissions remain the sole property of the submitting artist. Front Side Records claims no ownership.

• By submitting, artists grant Front Side Records a limited, royalty-free license to view and evaluate submissions solely for the purpose of this contest.

• Submissions will not be shared publicly or with third parties without explicit permission.

9. No Guarantees & Disclaimers

• Submission does not guarantee any feature, funding, collaboration, or release.

• Front Side Records reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest for any reason.

10. Limitation of Liability / Data Security

• Front Side Records will use reasonable measures to protect submitted content.

• However, Front Side Records is not responsible for unauthorized access, data breaches, theft, or loss of submitted materials, including unreleased music, and shall have no liability for such events.

11. Release & Indemnification

• By submitting, participants agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Front Side Records, its affiliates, officers, directors, agents, employees, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from participation, submissions, or alleged infringement of third-party rights.

12. Compliance with Laws & Governing Terms

• This contest and any agreements arising from it are governed by applicable federal, state, and local laws.

• Contest is void where prohibited.

13. Publicity

• Unless prohibited by law or otherwise agreed in writing, winners agree that Front Side Records may use their name, city, and submission for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

14. Miscellaneous

• Participation constitutes agreement to these official rules.

• Front Side Records’ interpretation of these rules is final and binding.
